April 21st - Hanuman Jayanti

Today the institute celebrated Hanuman Jayanti. Lord Hanuman is a hindu god, deeply revered in the hindu religion for his role in rescuing Sita from the demon Ravana in the great epic Ramayana. He was also considered a yogi and has deep reverence at the Iyengar Institute. This is an annual event. Geetaji did a talk on Lord Hanuman, the Hanuman Chalisa was chanted and the next edition of Yoga Rahasya was released by Guruji. A nice short and sweet event with about 100 students and their family in attendance. Coming soon is a short video.
